Very tasty food and good beer; Portions are very large; Prices are okay; Staff very friendly

We were there for the first time last weekend, but certainly not for the last time, even if we have a long journey. The service: super friendly, fun at work and really on the ball! The food was incredibly delicious and really big portions ;-) The premises were very nice and cozy, we felt very comfortable. Unfortunately we cannot judge the beer garden, but we will definitely make up for that when we visit in summer!

Despite the current situation, which is more than a little stressful for restaurants, the staff was very friendly and in a good mood. The prices are okay too

The food was good and plentiful, the location right on the Lahn is fantastic, only what was a bit uncomfortable was the feeling that the service conveyed to us that we are under time pressure. Maybe it just seemed like that to us! Still recommended. !!

So far quite good, only if I order an alcohol-free wheat with 0.5 ltr., And also pay, then I would also like 0.5 ltr. In it. The staff seemed very stressed to me.

Beautifully located on the Lahn, beer garden separated into service and self-service areas. Toilets very modern and clean. Service fast and friendly. Food a bit expensive, a pretzel 1.80 euros, well. We took three things with the beer for 6.80 euros (Obatzda, dressed cream cheese, coleslaw and pretzel). It worked.

Place and location beautiful and highly recommended. The tables in the self-service area with large spaces and a great atmosphere. "Just to be on the safe side" I only ordered the giant currywurst with chips. Unfortunately, payment by card is only possible from 10 euros. When I asked for a second mayonnaise when I picked up my meal, the young waitress rolled her eyes. The food was already lukewarm, the sausage dry and the skin tough - as if it had been warmed up several times. Salt the fries, halved in length, and dry them. The taste of the sauce is somehow like ketchup but without curry. After a short time it was "heavy in my stomach". At this, - by German standards - high price, I would have expected something different. Why is the food here still rated as good by a majority? It's a matter of perspective. In my opinion, the German food culture is reduced in many cases to having to be good, although many of the customers are not willing to pay a reasonable amount for it. In addition, many German palates seem to have got used to the often poor quality level. It is enough if it is simply "delicious, cheap, quick or good". There is then no further differentiation.

The pork knuckle was totally charred. The meat salad was quite good. This is not surprising given the obvious shortage of staff in this restaurant

Was there for the second time and I have to say I am disappointed! We were a group of eight and had to sit outside allegedly increased corona cases, with them the Rappel area was full. First we ordered a cappuccino that was only lukewarm, after we complained to the young waitress we got an answer "I'll ask the boss" and so the waitress disappeared, so when did we speak to the boss ourselves and got a warm one Cappuccino. Next we ordered the food, one person wanted to order children's plates and was not allowed to because they are not a child !!!, since when do you have to justify what you order from the menu, after all, this is not a buffet !!. The food tasted good but the portions are very large, I just finished halfway and wanted to take the rest home with me and then came the crowning glory! I had to buy the disposable packaging for 1 €, cheek! at such prices still pay for the packaging !!! Conclusion eat well everything else outrageous!

Here you sit in the countryside with a view of the old Lahn bridge. The food tastes good, the service is friendly. What more do you want?

Nah, it wasn't good here. We waited 1 hour for our food. It looked as if the waiters had no overview or they were walking haphazardly through the beer garden. My friend's meal was good. My pig talk rather not.

I recommend sitting inside if possible. Otherwise your food will be covered by countless flies and bees quickly. Couldn't enjoy the food so much.

Nice place to relax on the Lahn. Auto noise is present only at low volume. They have proud prices. But in the evening to enjoy his evening beer, this place is recommended.

It's a nice beer garden next to the river, it's very beautiful and peaceful place to drink variety beers.

The place is very very noisy, and the food is not always good. However beer is good, and curry Wurst also!

Tasty beer and good food in he Biergarten outside by the banks of the river Lahn. What more could you want after a four hour drive? It's self service and totally no frills, but it's solid. I had the Schwartzbier and the Schweinshaxn.

By far the best bar, restaurant, in wetzlar. The paulaner is excellent and the beer garden is in a great location at the river. There is also a small kids pay area of you are there with family.

Tasty beer, nice atmosphere and convenient working hours. There is not so much nice and open starting from afternoon restorations in Wetzlar. 80% are closed almost all the time(except evening), and having a lunch is not an easy task.
